About Us The Coal Marsh Missionary Baptist Church is located in Glen Daniel, Raleigh County, WV about 13 miles from the community of Beckley. The church was established in 1836 and continues to proclaim the gospel of Christ and eternal life through faith in the person and work of Christ. We are an independent, fundamental Baptist Church proclaiming the sovereignty of God, yet teaching the responsibility of men through biblical Christian instruction.
